Feather Boa Halloween Wreath

I’m trying to step up my Halloween decorations this year.  Considering I didn’t have any this isn’t that hard.

This wreath couldn’t have been easier.  I bought a feather boa at A.C. Moore for $7.99 (50% off coupon made it $4.00) and wrapped it around an old wire hanger.  That’s it.  Simple.

I used masking tape to tape together the 2 ends.

Now take your feather boa and attach one end the wire frame.  To do this I used tooth floss (I couldn’t find our fishing wire).  I just tied it onto the wire frame.  And now just wrap, wrap, wrap that boa around the wire.  At the end I used more tooth floss to tie it onto the frame.

I had found a glittery purple crow at Michaels that I wanted to add the wreath, but my oldest son was adamant that we buy the purple skull.  I gave in and went with the skull.  It already had a little loop on the top of it so I just hung it from the top of the wreath.

I used a large purple ribbon to hang it.  I’m all about purple and black for Halloween this year.  I just love it with my paper crows.

I think for $5.50 it’s a pretty spooky wreath.
