We have a serious mouse problem in our house, again!
I bought these super cute mouse decals from Martha Stewart crafts a couple of years ago. I love the look of them on the stair risers, but with carpeted stairs I couldn’t do this.
Last Halloween I wanted to put them on our front porch stairs but being made out of only cardboard they would not hold up.
For some reason it took me a year to figure out that I could just trace them onto vinyl and then use the vinyl mice to stick to the stairs. No idea why I didn’t think of such a simple solution sooner.
You can pick up sheets of vinyl at any craft store. They are often in the cricut machine section. I know at A.C. Moore they are $9.99 for 2 large sheets. I only used 3/4 of a sheet for my mice. You can always find a mouse picture online and print it off and use that as your stencil.
I simply traced the mice and cut them out.
