Winter Blues Flowers

paperflowers Winter Blues FlowersI shouldn’t complain. Winter in North Carolina isn’t even winter.

I’m Canadian I remember Spring flowers not popping up through the ground until May.

But I still miss having fresh-cut flowers for the 10 weeks or so of North Carolina winter.

So I pulled out my Silhouette Cameo and cut out these flowers using some scrapbook paper. And used some leftover craft wire for the stems.

If you own a Silhouette and want to make your own. Just go to the online store and search ‘3D flowers’. Pick out your favourites and start cutting. They are super easy to make.

The vintage bottles came with my flea market Pepsi Crate that I turned into craft storage for my kids.

  1. I love those flowers! I’m ready for spring tooI’m in South Carolina and this winter(and last year) have been all wonky! It either needs to get cold or spring just needs to come on.
