Read, play & imagine each month!
A good friend of mine has started a business selling foldable toys: Foldigo a monthly activity subscription service delivered to your door. The package comes with all the supplies needed for making creative paper-based toys including fun little glue dots that make assembly easy. Subscription options include monthly, yearly, or gift (3 months) subscriptions. You can find all information for ordering here.
Initially I thought my 4-year-old would be way too young for this. But he loved all of the activities and keeps coming back to play with the creations. He isn’t the most crafty kid, but he does love to colour and is just starting to get into comic books, so he thought this was pretty cool.
Meet Francesca the bulldog.
The foldable toy was easy to assemble, but a little too advanced for a 4-year-old. So I did the cutting and attached the glue dots to the tabs.
Jack assembled her and then promptly pretended she was pooping on the front lawn of the 3-D house. Of course.
Jack was really into colouring this. Maybe because he felt like he was actually creating the comic book. Whatever it was he genuinely loved it.
With a 2-year-old who still naps, I am always looking for ways to entertain my 4-year-old while we are stuck in the house waiting for him to wake up. Foldigo provides the perfect mix of creativity, stories and distraction for Jack and I during Sam’s nap time. It took us 3 naps to complete the package.
What to expect in your first month … When you join the Foldigo community we send you the first activity pack from our Livingston and Friends – The Tournament series. Each month you’ll get the next pack in the series (6 in total). In the seventh month you’ll receive the first activity pack from our top-secret second series.
The wonderful folks over at Foldigo are so excited to share their new product that they are giving away a free 3 month subscription to one of my lucky readers. What do you think? Would your kids love Foldigo? Sign up for the Foldigo newsletter here & receive free foldable activities.
