Activities for Boys

It’s been a wet & rainy summer for us here in Raleigh. And today was another one of those yucky rainy days. So I took Jack on a road trip to The Scrap Exchange, here in Durham, NC. You can check out my post on the amazing place here.

I told Jack to pick out any old broken electronic device he wanted. I assumed it would be a big old computer, but to my surprise he picked a phone. We paid a whole buck for it, brought it home, I handed him a couple of screwdrivers and he went all MacGyver on it. Took every single teeny tiny piece of it a part.

Who knew the inside of a phone looked so cool!

So how are you keeping the kids occupied this summer? I’m sure an extra $120 to spend  at Target could help. Right?

I’d love for you to enter my giveaway, and find some fabulous new blogs to follow as well.

Giveaway closes on Friday July 27th.
