Fall Cleaning with BISSELL

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BISSELL Homecare, Inc.. All opinions are 100% mine.

Once upon a time I had a clean home; ate in restaurants without playgrounds; and, slept past 5 am. Then I had kids.

Maintaining a clean house was first to give. Not good when you live in a house with white carpet. Seriously, why do all builders install white carpet?

I have to vacuum our white-carpeted family room at least once a day. Otherwise the white would turn to Goldfish orange.

Unfortunately the rest of our house rarely gets vacuumed.

I took a look around my house for all the neglected areas. You know, the areas that are a total pain to lug a big, heavy vacuum around too.

Now that the kids are heading back to school it’s time to do a deep clean. And I can’t wait to use the BISSELL portable pod that goes easily from room-to-room to clean things like my cutlery drawer (seriously how do so many crumbs fall in there?); car; the track for our sliding glass door; in between couch cushions and, our oven drawer.

Now to actually clean those areas I’m going to need a vacuum that is light-weight; has an easily removable pod for portable cleaning; a long hose; and, a crevice tool. The BISSELL’S new PowerGlide® with Lift-Off® Technology has all of these features and more.

And now I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new BISSELL® PowerGlide Lift-Off Technology.

One of the things I’m most looking forward to using my new BISSELL vacuum for is keeping my craft room floor clean. I’m always sewing, cutting, and crafting away in that room and when in the middle of DIY chaos the mess becomes overwhelming. The BISSELL PowerGlide with Lift-off Technology has no loss of suction, lift-off pod, long-stretch hose and large capacity dirt cup to clean up these big messes.

If you love a good vacuum as much as I do be sure to head on over to the BISSELL Facebook page and enter to win their sweepstakes.

  1. I have never thought about vacuuming the oven door! I just took a peek at mine…and it needs a vacuum! Plus I live with a retired janitor! If he sees it maybe I’ll get a Bissell!

  2. It seems like I’m always in search of a good vacuum, sounds like this Bissell might be strong enough to tackle the job!

    • That’s so great Erin, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how light weight and easy the BISSELL vacuum is. Absolutely recommend it to anyone with pets and/or kids!

    • Of course, thanks for taking a look at my review! I have the house full of boys too so I understand the need for a good quality vacuum!

  3. Aww, Danielle! I remember those clean house, out for dinner, sleeping in days. It’s really only the clean house I miss. The new Bissell power glide sounds like the ticket to getting my house clean again!
    Great post!
    Cheers to you and yours,
    Therese
