10 Minutes of Junking

I registered my oldest son for kindergarten today.

Woo Hoo.

I know most of my friends are sobbing over this milestone. Not me. Maybe I will be the day he actually starts school. But for some reason I don’t think so. Not that I don’t love the kid, but we’re both ready for school to start!

Enough bad mom tales. I had literally 10 minutes to kill today after signing jack up for Kindergarten but before I had to pick the boys up from preschool. So I went down the street to Vintage Village Antiques. It was a quick shop but of course I found some cool stuff.

Excuse the bad photos I only had my iPhone on me.

These chippy yellow doors were smaller than a regular sized door and would be super cute as a headboard.

  1. That is such a great dresser! I would love to go thrift store shopping more often but I have trouble finding any places that have anything good around where I live.

    • Hey Christa, I totally know what you mean. I can go months without finding anything good. Are you in Canada? If so I sometimes would have luck at Value Village.

    • Once you have kids it’s amazing what you can accomplish in 10 minutes. It used to take me a whole day to clean the house, now if I have 10 kid free minutes I clean it all.
