This post isn’t exactly a DIY post. But I had to share this cool app called GrooveBook that is helping me to organize and actually print my photos. Since I’m sure that I’m not the only one who has a phone full of photos that never get printed I thought I’d share.
With my first son I took no less than a million or so photos of him, printed them off each week and even had the time to write the date and a little description on the back of each photo. Second kid showed up and I didn’t even have the energy to press the little click button on the camera.
I’ve been making an effort to take more photos of both boys lately, and normally that means using my iPhone. It’s no secret that I’m slightly addicted to Instagram. You can see all my favorite thrift store and flea markets finds there.
So now that I’m taking more photos I have another problem. I’m not printing them. And I was terrified of losing them into the deep dark black hole of the interwebs.
GrooveBook ‘forces’ you to print out 100 photos from your phone every month for just $2.99 a month. You simply open the app click on the photos you want to develop and a few days later a nice little bound book arrives at your door with all your photos. You can keep them in the book or tear them out.
I’ve found that it’s forced me to print the photos out, because if I don’t I lose the $2.99 for that month.
My only complaints about GrooveBook are that the photos aren’t super great quality. But that could also be my camera (plus it’s only $2.99). I also find them a little difficult to rip out of the bound book. But both issues are really no big deal. I still love this app!
This is in no way a sponsored post, I just had to share it. If you want to give GrooveBook a try you can use my coupon code PEARCE72 to get your first month free (I get nothing at all for this coupon code). You have nothing to lose now.
