Painted Flea Market Chairs

I found these Bentwood chairs at a flea market and scooped them

Although I was totally into the booze theme they had going on, I just didn’t think it would work with our kitchen decor. So I used spray primer to cover up the rather odd paint headed to Lowes to pick out the brightest spray paint colours I could find.

protecting-painted-furnitureAfter I let the paint dry for 24 hours I sprayed the chairs with Minwax fast drying Polyurethane. My boys would otherwise destroy the paint.

  1. Wow I absolutely love your choice of colours. I’ve done something similar myself in the past with pastel colours, but having seen your I’d love to have something bit brighter. Great post. xxx
