The Salvage Sign is on the Move (to Hillsborough)

rusted-roots-antiquesWant to see what’s happening behind that door?

setting-up-antique-boothMy friend Candace and her husband have been hard at work (like crazy hard at work) getting Rusted Roots ready for opening on November 1. They’ve covered the walls with rusty tin, salvaged barn board, and bolts and bolts of burlap. It’s ridiculously amazing.

And I’m lucky enough to have a little corner to fill with my hand painted signs.Antiques-HillsboroughToday I headed over to the shop to set up. I’m excited to finally get The Salvage Sign a permanent space. And when Candace said she had a found a space to open up her own shop, I just knew it was going to be amazing. the-salvage-sign
handpainted-signs-boothStill need to go back next week and had some small furniture pieces and hang my store sign but for the most part it’s done.daniel-boone- antique-villageI’m a sucker for the felt pom poms. I’ll be selling those as garland too. I love them hung from mantles or in kids bedrooms. Adorable.raleigh-antique-storedaniel-boone-antique-villageRusted Roots is located in The Shops at Daniel Boone in Hillsborough, NC. If you haven’t been before it’s kind of an odd place. My first time visiting I couldn’t figure out the weird layout of all these tiny little antique shops with random buildings like a Blacksmith building. Turns out it was once an amusement park. The building that Rusted Roots occupies was once the train depot.hillsborough-antiques We hope to see you at Rusted Roots 135 Daniel Boone Street Hillsborough, NC!
