Mainly because I’m no expert when it comes to cleaning and organizing. I actually totally fail in this area. But I discovered a little cleaning trick.
We hosted a New Year’s Day party at our house and spent three full days cleaning just to make our house presentable.
While cleaning the gunk off our stove I pulled on the little latch at the front of the stove. I’ve always noticed it, but never knew what it did. Well I gave that little latch a little pull and looked what happened…It popped up just like the hood of a car.
I realize I may be the only one who doesn’t already know this trick. But I thought it was pretty cool.
I never have to stick my hand through the four little burner holes to clean it again.
I put them in a bag with about 1/4 cup of ammonia (I found the ammonia at Wal-Mart for a couple of dollars), tied the bag up. And put it outside for about 12 hours (or longer).
Be sure to open the bags up outside, the ammonia smell is enough to knock you out. It’s bad.
