  3. Just wanted to let you know that I love you Pinterest and Web sit. I looked first because of your name. My granddaughter is Daniella a combo of my son’s and his wife’s names is why spelled differently. Also my son works for Benjamin Moore so live all the color charts.

I am a dedicated crafter teaching at JoAnn. It seems I never have time in the day to do all I want to do. I will never have enough time in my life to finish all my projects. My goal this week is to make bean bags for the corn hole boards my husband made.
    Again love your sited.

  4. I have wood floors that are old , dull and need refinishing but no time or money to do the big project. Can I do the coconut oil trick on them or will that make them too slippery? Any other suggestions for them? Thankyou so much

    • Hi Debby, I can’t promise it will work but you could always try it on a small patch of your floors somewhere. I don’t think it made the wood on my table slippery at all. But you never know with different types of finishes, woods etc. I’ve had my table for almost a year now and haven’t reapplied the coconut oil and it still looks great.

I’d love to know if it works. I had another reader tell me she used it on her old wooden kitchen cabinets and she said it worked and brought them back to life.

    • Hi Dio I bought it at Wal-Mart about 10 years ago (yes that long ago). It cost about $100 and is a pretty basic machine but I only need to sew straight lines, I’m not doing anything fancy. Another option is to go to a little quilting shop and see if they have any used machines for sale. They often have really good machines that people have traded in for new sewing machines. JoAnne fabrics may also have good deals on sewing machines (especially during Black Friday sales). I hope that helps.
